This year, the entire SEI staff had the opportunity to go to downtown Annapolis, for a tour of Annapolis Elementary School led by Principal Architect, Ran Ilkovitch. The project incorporated a sustainable and distinguished addition to the building, while maintaining the authenticity of the building’s historic attributes, and many of the original features. Annapolis Elementary is the oldest continuously operational school in the state of Maryland, and SEI was pleased to play an integral role in its preservation and adaptive reuse for 21st century learning. After the tour, the staff had a chance to unwind with a waterfront dining experience across the street.
