North
County High School was originally constructed as Lindale Middle School. After a
series of additions and redistricting, the facility was converted to combine and
house the populations of two high schools; Brooklyn Park and Andover High
School. The new combined high school has since been known as North County High
School.
SEI's
contribution to the school included a new competition gymnasium, a bus loop,
and athletic fields. A great effort was given to the overall gym experience
which features spectator seating for 1600, sound cancelling diffusor block
walls to eliminate reverberation noise, and in homage to the history of the
community, the original high school logos were prominently displayed on the gym
floor. Complementing the gymnasium are amenities and support spaces which
include team rooms, a trophy showcase wall, concessions, and a large adjacent
gathering space displaying the school's Hall of Fame.
